CBD Collaborates

CBD collaborates with local businesses to fund Patrol Special Police in the neighborhood, supplementing the good work of the SFPD. The Castro CBD also works closely with Supervisor Sheehy and Mission Station to ensure  the Castro has our share of services. In FY 2016-17 the SF Patrol Special Police gave 1,355 warnings to people violating sit/lie and responded to 622 alcohol related events. Alcohol related events range from calling the ambulance for someone overly intoxicated to waiting with the intoxicated individual while their friend arrives to making someone pour out open containers.
